Thanksgiving

In this Thanksgiving I am going to travel with my classmates to Chicago by train. My budge it is only $500, so we have to spend the money carefully. We don’t want to lose all money in just tick of plane or big hotel. The tickets cost $32.10, and we decided stay in hotel called The Seneca Hotel and Suites. The hotel cost for one night 107 and we want stay for two nights. I hope I can go to the tallest building in North America “Sears Tower “. Of course we cannot go wherever we want because we don’t have money. We will shop there because Chicago is a good place to do shopping. Actually if we want shopping in Chicago with just about $300 I think that’s not enough because last time when I went there for a few hours I spent about $400. It is a little expansive than East Lansing. I hope everyone enjoy with his traveling.

My Apartment

Today I am going to write about my apartment. I live in an apartment on Grand River above restaurant called Taco Bell. It has two bedrooms, small kitchen, big living room, small Laundry room, and one bathroom and a half. I like about my apartment many things such as it is close to campus, so I don’t have to take buses. It is not so expensive. It is very quiet during weekdays, but on weekends some of my neighbors make parties and become a little noise. And I don’t like about my apartment when I invite some friends I have to go down then open the door for them because I cannot open it when I am in my apartment. Anyway I still like my apartment even I cannot open the door through the bell.

My favorite restaurant in East Lansing is Chili’s. Chili’s is a fast food restaurant. It has comfortable chairs and tables. I like when the restaurant has a special place for smoking because I hate smoking, and the tables are organized. I go to Chili’s with my brother. I like Chili’s because it has a delicious food especially chicken fajita and great desserts. The location of Chili’s is a near Meridian Mall and you can go to Chili’s by bus when you take bus number one.

My first month in East Lansing

I came to East Lansing 8 months ago. When I arrived to the U.S.A it was snowing and freezing. My first impression of East Lansing was not very good, I don’t like the wither during winter, I don’t like the transportation, the bus come every ten munities, I was so far from my family and my friends, and it was a new life for me, but now I feel a completely deferent feeling, I met a nice native people, I saw MSU’s campus it’s a great campus and I met my first friend in the East Lansing in my English class. His name is Chao. He is from china, we used to do some exercise together and play basketball. I hope for him a great future.
